Why We Do What We Do

Young adults with different abilities often face a significant lack of job opportunities, volunteer roles, and pathways that enable them to pursue their passions and discover their purpose.

For Marcus, he discovered his love for art and dogs, and through Mission Marcus: Operation Pawsible, he’s found a way to combine these passions into a fulfilling purpose.

With approximately 3.3 million dogs in shelters across the United States and countless more facing neglect, there’s an urgent need to support our furry friends.

By turning his artwork into a mission, Marcus not only gains meaningful work but also helps raise awareness and support for local animal shelters.

Marcus now channels his love for dogs and passion for art into creating one-of-a-kind canvas dog paintings. With the guidance of his art instructor, Marcus produces extraordinary paintings that are then transformed into a collection of print art, dog-themed greeting cards, and other merchandise. Your purchases allow Marcus to pursue this meaningful work, develop valuable skills, and share his talents with the world.

Supporting Shelter Dogs

Marcus’s steadfast commitment to helping shelter dogs is at the core of our mission. Each year, a percentage of sales from his art and merchandise is donated to support a local or national dog charity, ensuring that his passion for supporting these incredible animals continues to make a meaningful impact.
